Bright + Cheery Social

A little sass and a lot of badass...

Lisha of 3eleven events put together this beautiful party for small group of ladies. What did she want guest to feel? Happy.

"I wanted each guest to smile and feel joy. From the welcome bar at the entry with the bright florals and cocktails, to dinner and dessert, I wanted it to be bright and welcoming. I feel that was accomplished." wrote Lisha.

Yes! Mission accomplished. I feel happy just looking at these beautiful images from Camille Docena Photography

When asked what her favorite part of designing the event was, Lisha explained, "Honestly, every part of putting this event together was fun. If I had to pick one favorite part, I would say the color palette. I loved working with such vibrant colors. The bright yellow, orange and fuchsia made you smile, upon entering the room."

I brought in some of that color with brightly colored flowers, and Lisha accented with citrus fruits and blooming cacti~ perfect for a vibrant spring or early summer soirée.

Flowers were selected from the Seattle Wholesale Growers Market (a flowers lover's dream). Everything was grown by flower farmers from Washington, Oregon or California.

My favorite element was the precious bleeding hearts, with their perfect draping stems and dangling heart shaped flowers.

Flowers & foliage used:

  • coral peonies
  • orange, yellow & pink ranunculus
  • white & orange daffodils
  • orange geum
  • blueberry foliage
